The inspiration shoots tells a story of a modern Australian woman who is getting married to a man of her dreams. As she gets ready for her big day, she puts on her white silk bridal robe. She wears her favourite classic and understated jewellery that truly reflects her style. Her make up is done by Phoenix Wong with soft and natural palette, and with a touch of blush glitters on her eyelids, and soft pink lipsticks on her lips. Her hair was put into a classic bun with some braids and adorned with dainty hair accessories by Infinite Crown. A look of elegance that she really loves.

Her wedding dress hangs beautifully on the mannequin as the bride gets ready. The dress is designed and created by Rini Budisana (SASI Couture). It’s a classic and modern mermaid fitted dress made of crepe fabric with low V-neck, and spaghetti straps with bow detailing at the back, as well as a court train. The design is kept simple with neither lace nor beadings to adhere to the minimalist theme of the shoot. Nevertheless, the bride is not deprived of the princess-like glorious feel of her wedding day. A detachable skirt made of crystal organza and tulle is also created with a long train. The skirt gives an ethereal feel to the dress, and brings an understated grandeur to the bride’s look. Her look is completed with a cathedral length plain veil and a pair of Bella Belle Evelyn Shoes in white to give a touch of glamour. In the spare moment the bride has before she walks down the aisle, she reads the love letter Paul, her husband-to-be, has left for her in her dressing room. She reminisces the joyful time she has with her better half of these years and reads her vows one more time before she walks down the aisle. Both the love letter and vows were specially handwritten by Calligraphy by Biteblock.

The bride puts on her veil and carries her bridal bouquet, which has been beautifully created by Irene Boen. The bridal bouquet consists of a mix of classic pink and white roses, and the Australian native green and peach Banksia and Silvan Red as statement pieces. It’s adorned with delicate Italian Ruscus and Asparagus Fern. The groom and groomsmen’s buttonholes are made of Silvan Red flowers to complement the bridal bouquet.

As the reception starts, the bride takes her time to adore the beautiful tablescape styled by Irene Boen. The flowers for the centre pieces are similar to that of the bridal bouquet. Nirvana Rainier Black dinner plates, luxe Dragonfly cutleries, and Schott Zwiesel white wine glasses by Black Crate provide contemporary settings to the reception table. The wedding menus are written by Calligraphy by Biteblock in white vellum paper to create a soft contrast to the black dinner plates; while the handwritten guest names on scrolled place cards adds a romantic touch.

As the night concludes, the bride is pleased to find a surprise from her new husband, a bed decorated with her favourite flowers. She goes to bed that night reliving the unforgettable day in her dreams.
